Ken Dickey has over thirty years of experience in the electric motor and motion control industries. He has extensive knowledge in sales, marketing and growing collaborative opportunities into highly successful business partnerships.
Ken was most recently the CEO of Cleveland Motion Control where he was responsible for the operations of subsidiary companies based in North America, Europe and Asia. Ken worked for thirty-two years at Reliance Electric and Rockwell Automation. He served as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, earning revenues over $900M. Ken was also General Manager of the Industrial Motor Division, which he grew into one of the most successful motor businesses in the world.
Ken is a distinguished member of the National Board of Governors at the Alumni Association of the University of Akron, from where he earned his B.S. degree in Finance/Marketing. He holds an Executive MBA degree from Case-Western Reserve University.
Michael Ketchum's almost thirty years of experience in the pump industry includes roles in marketing, sales, product development and corporate strategy. Mike utilizes his holistic understanding of pumping and its related industries to grow sales, expand revenues, enhance corporate performance and develop new markets at an international level.
Mike currently serves as a Vice-President at Ober-Read & Associates where he has actively increased OEM sales and extensively grown the distribution network. Previously, Mike was a Vice-President at Grundfos, where he led product development and market penetration objectives, focusing on US-specific product development requirements.
Mike holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Whittier College and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Terry Manon brings thirty-three years of experience in the air handling industry, where he was responsible for product development, marketing and strategy at the global level. He was most recently Vice-President at Trane Company where he developed, organized and directed worldwide Safety, Quality and Lean Six Sigma initiatives. As Senior Vice-President of Global Air Handling at Trane Company, Terry was responsible for staff, facilities and operations in North America, Europe and Asia.
Terry holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, is a recipient of Purdue University's 2001 Outstanding Mechanical Engineer Award, and in 2010 was named a Purdue Distinguished Engineering Alumnus.
With over twenty-five years ofexperience in the electric motor industry, John Mazurkiewicz has held positions in research and development, application engineering, marketing and product development. During his career, he has served in key positions at ElectroCraft, Honeywell/Pacific Scientific and Baldor Electric. In his latest position, John was the Product Marketing Manager for Baldor, where he travelled world-wide providing technical assistance to customers.
John was editor and co-author of the original ElectroCraft engineering handbook "DC Motors, Speed Controls, Servo Systems". He assembled and conducted many of the initial educational classes at Pacific Scientific and Baldor.
John holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin with advanced education at the University of Minnesota. He was Chairman of the Motion Control Association, served as a board member of Automation Technology Council, and continues as a consultant on several advisory boards.
With over twenty years of experience in the motion control industry, Phil Strong has engaged in executive operations and marketing for businesses supplying Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in North America, Asia and Europe. Phil is highly experienced in growing early stage businesses, commercializing new technologies and thoroughly enjoys the rigors of developing niche industry advantages and implementing strategic marketing programs.
Prior to advising NovaTorque, Phil was the President of a $100M operating business at Danaher Corporation. He joined Danaher after leading the successful turnaround and sale of Motion Engineering Inc. to Danaher in 2004. He was also a cofounder of Optimised Control Inc., subsequently sold to Baldor Electric.
Phil holds a B.S. degree in Physics from the University of Manchester, U.K., an M.S. degree in Automation from Imperial College, U.K. and an MBA from Ecole National des Ponts et Chausees, France.
